Noticeboard for Jan 7th

Good luck to our clubs in the FAI Junior Cup next weekend.

Usher travel to Westport, Sheriff YC host Pike Rovers and St Pauls Artane host MP FC.

The Transfer window closes Jan 31st and once again we tell all our club secretaries if a transfer request comes you way please sign in and do not use an excuse that the player owes money for this and that. We are an amateur sport and any monies owed is a personal issue with the club and player. If players have to return gear they should. If a club refuses to sign a transfer form the AUL will sign it on behalf of the club which it is entitled to do.

The AUL Futsal Cup has been going on over the Christmas period and in Group A Blue Magic are showing everyone how it is done and they look good to come out of this group along with Transylvania but both can be caught by Saints and Scholar. Group B is currently being led by Dublin City Futsal and Puskas Hagi.

Please use the AUL Website to check your fixtures. They will also be on strikeronline, you will find your match official after the fixture and you can then keep in touch with the referee and opponents to make sure the game goes ahead. If there is any difference between the fixture on the AUL Website and Strikeronline please go by the AUL site and contact the fixture secretary immediately.

We would ask everyone to show respect to the match officials at all times. The League will come down heavily on players or mentors who are found guilty of abusing match officials.

Be aware of the ITC. If you are signing a player who has come back to live in Ireland or has arrived to live here ask the question “did you play in an organised League where he has come from” and if the answer is yes that player may require an International Transfer Certificate. All applications for an ITC must come from the Secretary of the Club the player is registered for. The player must register first for his club and then the club applies for the ITC. All ITC applications must be sent to itc@fai.ie the 1st ITC window closes end of September

We ask all Secretaries to fill out the match card when the Referee gives it to you. There is no rule as to what team fills out the card first, if the Referee gives you the card please fill it out. Do not have the Referee waiting around for the card back. Please use a ball point pen and print in block capitals the players name. Lean heavy so it comes through on the 3 copies. It is up to you to collect your copy of the card after the game and after the Referee has filled out the scorers and the cards issued if there were any. Please pay the Referee his fee before the game.

If you want a weekend off please email your request to your fixture secretary, me info@aul.ie , Dennis Cruise denniscruise66@gmail.com and Peter Doyle leinsterfa@gmail.com if you are still in these competitions.
